2nd September 2007 Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: Session time = 12-2.30pm Surf / Sea State: HT@3pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: A temporary hiccup in the current wind drought produced an afternoon of marginal conditions for a christening of the new freestyle board. I was hoping it would plane in a gnat's fart and yes it did! At a guess there was no more than 16-18mph of breeze on average and no-one else was out not even any kites yet I planed solidly for the whole session on a small sail. Otherwise not particularly exciting due to mid-high tide lumpiness but great to get out on shiny new kit after 2 weeks of no wind and none on the horizon... :( |
